KZ has designed the ZVX with a four-layer voice coil, which is different from the traditional dynamic driver that has a double-layer voice coil. The purpose of the double-layer design is to ensure there is enough space between the T-iron and the magnet and avoid NG due to the assembly process's dimensional tolerance. However, KZ has addressed this issue by reducing the magnetic gap and using a four-layer voice coil design on the ZVX, which results in better low-frequency performance with more impact than the traditional dynamic unit.
